UNITED KINGDOM

Our Forecast: 1 December 2010- Civil Unrest: A civil unrest campaign by students in the UK is likely to be gaining momentum; retailers are at risk of disruption.

Outcome: In March 2011, activists targeted the Fortnum & Masson store in Piccadilly, London for protests.


GREECE

Our Forecast: 7 May 2010 - Greece's fiscal position is so severe, and it's economic outlook so bleak within the euro, that at some point over the next three years it will probably be forced to default on its sovereign debt.

Outcome: Since mid-2010, Greece has experienced rounds of re-financing and debt restructuring and is technically already in default.
