'Turkic Islamist Militancy in Central Asia' is a special report published in December 2009 that looks into group dynamics and terrorist risks to Germany, Uzbekistan and China. The report details key individuals, the dynamics between them and how this effects the outlook for the countries outlined. The report is forward looking and specifically outlines the specific assets and sectors most at risk as well as the tactics likely to be used.
   
'Pakistan - the Year Ahead' is a special report published in September 2009 that looks at the outlook for the political and violent risk environment in Pakistan. It explores themes such as the Pakistan-Taliban political influence and prospects for capturing the state; the security of Pakistan's nuclear weapons, India-Pakistan war scenarios and who might be the key game changers in the year ahead.
   

 

'Pakistan - Violent Risk Outlook by Target Set' is a special report published in Septmeber 2009 that looks at how violent risks in Pakistan will affect specific comercial assets such as airlines, hotels, ports, cargo and personnel in the year ahead.

 

 

'al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb' is a special report on the prospects for survival and expansion of the extremist group published in June 2009. The report looks at who's who in AQIM; the current relations with the al-Qaeda network; and targets and tactics for the one year outlook, focussing on Algeria, the Sahel, North Africa and Western Europe.
   

'Afghanistan Risk Outlook 2009-2010' is a special report published in April 2009 provides an objective, forward-looking strategic risk overview of Afghanistan in the one-year outlook. The report addresses the foolowing questions amongst others; How will insurgency strategy and capabilities evolve over the coming year and how will this impact on counterinsurgency gains? Which areas of Afghanistan will be at most risk of violent attack in the coming year? Will new transport routes used by the US/NATO reduce the risks of attacks to cargo? Is Afghanistan going to be a base for plotting attacks against the West? How will developments in Pakistan’s FATA affect risks in Afghanistan?
